We are inspired to bring to life the elegant patterns found since antiquity in human history, the natural world, mathematics, and sacred geometry; we create transformative lighting systems designed to harness and expand our relationship with light.
SAYA Light was born in Bali and designed by Zak human, with its genesis beginning at events and festivals around the beautiful volcanic island.
In Bali, the word saya means 'I' or 'me' or 'I am' and it's used on a daily basis. In Arabic, saya means 'light', and in Hindi, saya means 'shadow'.
SAYA Light's mission is to transform our day to day relationship with Light, empowering the user to take control of their lighting at home or in any space.
Our vision is one aligned with sustainability, sourcing low impact materials for our products, and packing flat to vastly reduce energy and cost used in transport.
